Welcome to the Educational Technology for Palliser blog!!
My objective for this wiki is to provide all the teachers within Palliser Regional Schools with some of the up and coming tools along with some trouble shooting hints that have been approved by the Palliser IT team. As well, I’d like to document my daily work with the teachers and share some of the trials and tribulations that I get to witness first hand in the classroom. Hopefully this blog will serve the teachers with a resource that will assist you this school year.
I’ve been really thinking a lot about whether this should be a blog or a wiki. With the blog, I can provide a daily account for all the different activities that I participate in and also provide what I hope will be a lot of useful ideas and tools to use in the classroom. The trouble is, how do I as a teacher, find the information that I after? With a wiki, I could set up pages for different topics and provide the teachers with a quick visual means of locating the data. So I’m going to take the wiki route here and I hope that it provides the teachers with what I hope is going to be useful classroom ideas and resources.
I would appreciate any feedback from the Palliser teachers regarding this blog. Please share what you would like to see here and what things I need to avoid. My contact is below:
